It is only natural that in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, Pastificio Fabbri traditionally produces a pasta that recalls the olive tree, one of the region's flagships. Elsewhere, fior d'ulivo pasta is called fior di sambuco, stelline, astri or even margheritina.
This shape belongs to the family of small pastas, that is, a pasta that is carefully cut in the mould in order to save children from having to chew.
This shape is especially good in recipes with vegetable, fish or meat broth.
